Doris Gordon—Ace Dating Coach And Author Eager To Share Her Experience
I’m Doris Gordon, a dating coach with 10+ years of experience and thousands of happy clients. Since online dating is on the rise now, a lot of people are wondering how they can leverage this opportunity to meet their soulmates. My coaching aims to make their dating platform experiences more enjoyable and less frustrating. I understand how hard it might be to overcome the dating-related anxiety and fear, as well as how complicated it is to decide on what kind of person one is looking for.
So, I have decided that it’s time to take advantage of the opportunities the Internet offers and came up with the idea of the platform you’re on now. I contacted some of my colleagues and asked their opinions about creating a site where we’ll share our insights, ideas, and tips to help readers excel in their personal lives. We all share the same passion—we love helping people fall in love and making them gain confidence in themselves. That’s why all my colleagues stood up for this idea and turned my blueprint into a real-life project!I used to be a dating coach for men and women and wrote publications for several resources, like Yahoo, Bustle, and Hello Giggles, to name a few. I gained more experience while working with clients and writing articles, which helped me better understand what problems people might be facing and what fears they have. I figured out that it often happens that a person who is confident about many aspects of their life, such as career or social life, doesn’t always feel the same way when it comes to relationships with men/women. That’s when I decided it was time to step into the game and help people follow the right path and see their strong sides.
Also, I believe that my education played a critical role in advancing my professional career because I’m a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy, having graduated from The Family Institute at Northwestern University. After that, I decided to focus more on relationship coaching and take a comprehensive program that would help me hone my soft skills and become a more qualified specialist. So, I applied for the iPEC’s training program that had weekly classes, assignments, and meetings. It demanded an intensive time commitment, but it was worth it because I also got business assistance for creating my own coaching firm. Now, I plan on entering the UK Coaching Academy because I want to stay on the same page with all the innovations in the area.
Currently, I’m incredibly proud to say that my husband and I have finally managed to achieve the so-called “relationship goals.” In hindsight, I see what mistakes we’ve made in our relationships and what was hindering us from establishing mutual understanding earlier. I have analyzed my feelings and chatted to my partner about his thoughts and opinions, coming up with valuable insights I can apply during the coaching sessions with my clients. I believe that having both male and female perspectives on relationships significantly impacts the coaching outcomes, so I emphasize a comprehensive approach in my work.
I believe that if you enjoy something, you’ll never get tired of it, so I keep mastering new knowledge even in my free time because they make me more inspired and joyful. I love reading about therapy types and modalities, energy healing, neurolinguistics, and solution-focused coaching. Also, I love doing yoga and drawing when I have time because I think that these activities help me stay positive and open-minded, being ready to help men and women who come to my coaching sessions.
I genuinely hope that you’ll enjoy this site because I bet you won’t find such an extensive collection of articles from a number of highly-qualified dating coaches anywhere else!
